I stayed for one night in January. I arrived quite late but had a lovely welcome from Mo who made me a cup of tea and showed me to my room. It was in the attic up a steep set of stairs that were fine for me but would be a challenge for anyone with restricted mobility. The bed was very comfortable and the only slight drawback was the TV was very old and only had limited reception.
Breakfast was excellent, cooked to order and served in the very nice dining room. Read less

We, that is a group of three girls (age +-30), travelled to Darlington in order to visit a friend. We shared one room, which was very big! Besides our beds, there were 2 sofas. It was like a little flat of our own. We stayed at Trudy's Guesthouse for 3 nights.
The owners of the guesthouse were very friendly and helpful! It felt as if we were staying at a friend's or a relative's house.
We'd definitely recommend Trudy's guesthouse! We are planning to come back there ourselves. Read less

Trudy and Ronnie have been welcoming visitors since 1999 and have hundreds and hundreds of satisfied customers who often return to visit.
As a well travelled engineer himself, Ronnie knows just how important it is for the business traveller to have somewhere comfortable and friendly to stay.
Trudy & Ronnie also welcome students from the Saks Academy and Darlington College as well as foreign teachers and students visiting local schools.
Trudy's Guesthouse regularly accommodates actors and technicians working at the Darlington Civic Theatre and the Darlington Arts Centre, both of which are within walking distance.
Walkers, cyclists, anglers and children are all warmly welcomed at Trudy's.
Wedding parties regularly stay at Trudy's when weddings take place at local hotels such as Bannatyne's, Hallgarth and Redworth Hall.
Motorsport enthusiasts are always amazed at the close proximity and easy access to Croft Circuit which is a 2 minute drive or a quick taxi ride away.
Nearby Hurworth Grange also regularly has events such as vintage car shows.
Other regular visitors include medical staff working at Darlington Memorial Hospital which is within easy walking distance as well as consultants and trainers contracting for Amec, Orange, Whessoe, Cummins, CTC Marine and many other local blue-chips.
