We've taken care of every detail in your room - including the sumptuous, amazingly comfortable pocket-sprung bed, which is set with lovely crisp egyptian cotton sheets, gorgeous duvets and king-sized pillows. After taking in some fresh, clear Northumberland air, you'll sleep deeper and softer than ever before.
In the morning, you can enjoy award-winning local sausage and bacon from our butcher, free-range eggs from a nearby farm, or dishes made with traditional oak-smoked fish from the Seahouses smokehouse. Or choose from a range of other delicious options on your lavish breakfast menu.
B&B doesn't get any better than this - your perfect, award-winning B&B accommodation on the beautiful Northumberland coast. You'll be able to stroll along the beach to Bamburgh Castle, or take a short drive to Lindisfarne - Holy Island - or to Alnwick, to visit the Castle and Garden. You're just a few minutes walk from the bustling Seahouses harbour, where boats leave for the Farne Islands, and from the village centre shops and pubs - but your luxurious resting place is just far enough away from the hustle to be quiet, and peaceful.
You'll be perfectly located, with easy access to Northumberland's amazing coast and country, its expansive, pristine beaches, big skies and wide, open horizons...

Please note St Cuthbert's House is not suitable for divers. We welcome children over 12 yrs. We do not accept pets.
Modern building materials have been used to seriously insulate the building. We have a highly efficient condensing boiler and low-energy mains-voltage units everywhere possible. We use environmentally-friendly luxurious toiletries, and eco-friendly cleaning methods. We try to minimise the amount of detergent we use. We offer guests the option to re-use towels or have them changed, using a clear system. Our Guest Information booklet encourages guests to be aware of energy-saving issues such as switching off lights and radiators when they are not required. All rubbish is separated for recycling. Our food and other supplies are bought locally where that's practical, and if we can't do that then we're on the lookout for fair-trade or organic alternatives. We have a Gold Award form the Green Tourism Business Scheme.
