The building is gorgeous; stone steps, very high ceilings, beautiful old large bay windows looking out on to the grounds of Donaldsons College. The room was huge and the hospitality was second to none

Where else can you step out the front door and find world class art galleries within ten minutes on foot along a riverside walk? Where else can you find a culinary treat for those who love the first meal of the day?
Whoever you are or whatever you are looking for, whether that be a visit to Edinburgh on business, or a romantic city break, Allburys is perfect for all your needs. At Allburys, business people can be as well looked after as romantic couples or small groups of grown-ups looking for fun.
Rooms/suites include Wi-Fi connection with up to 20Mb download access; LCD flat screen TVs with Sky films and sport; CD audio/DVD player; Playstation 3; iPod player; mini-bar; also available laundry/ironing facilities.
In our opinion, breakfast is the most important meal of the day so we really go to town sourcing fresh local food from some of the many small producers around Edinburgh. We feel it is important to provide seasonal fruit and organic meat, eggs and fish which are complemented by some fabulous fresh breads.
